    Tell us about you and your trade — basics, business name (or just yourself), service area. Upload your government ID and a quick selfie photo or video so we can confirm you're who you say you are.

    A reviewer checks your application within a couple of business days. You'll get an email with a one-click link to set your password and finish your profile.

    Add a bio, profile photo, cover image, gallery of past work, licenses, insurance, certifications. The more complete your page, the more likely customers are to award you their job.

    Filter by trade and area. Ask the customer clarifying questions before you bid. Submit your total amount, timeline, and proposal — your identity stays anonymized until you're awarded.

Common questions

Do I need an account to look around? expand_more
No. Anyone can browse open jobs and contractor profiles without signing in. You only create an account when you're ready to post a job or submit a bid.
How long does contractor approval take? expand_more
Most applications are reviewed within one to two business days. We'll email you with the decision and, on approval, a link to set your password and finish your profile.
Can I record a selfie video instead of a photo? expand_more
Yes. A short 5–10 second selfie video (MP4 or MOV) is great proof-of-life for the reviewer — preferred over a still photo when possible. Keep it under 80 MB.
Can I cancel a project after I post it? expand_more
Yes. From My Jobs you can take a draft down, unpublish (if no bids yet), or cancel a posting that already has bids. Contractors who bid on a cancelled posting are notified.
What does Cool-Project cost? expand_more
Browsing and posting are free. Contractor application is free. Pricing for awarded contracts is shared during contract setup, before any commitment.
