The CoolProject app, for contractors on site
Contractors on the CoolProject platform get an iPhone app for the parts of a job that happen away from a desk — capturing receipts, scanning documents, and recording notes while the work is still in front of you.
What it does
- Receipt capture. Photograph a receipt and the vendor, total, tax and line items are read out of it for you. Reading happens on our servers rather than on the phone, so a new receipt appears under “Processing” for a few minutes before its details fill in.
- Document scanning. Single- or multi-page scans, filed straight against the project.
- Voice notes. Record a note on site and have it written up into the project record.
How to get it
The app has no sign-up screen, by design. Accounts are issued through the contractor application on this site — we verify your identity (a government ID review, or a live video call with a reviewer if you prefer not to upload documents) and review your trade credentials before an account is created. Once your application is through, you sign in to the app with the same email and password you use here.
